Happy new year to all our members and their families.
I hope you are all well and itching to get back into training.
2007 Was a busy year for the club and a year that saw a few changes within the club.
New Chairman, new committee members, new trainers and new members.
Also a brand new website.
Congratulations to all our members who did well in their competing in 2007
A big thank you to all those who helped in whatever capacity with last years shows and demo's.
We really could not have done it without you.
Another big thank you for all those who donated to the M.S charity appeal and to all those who have helped raise money with their great ideas.
Another big thank you to those who have helped with the clubs social nights.
Summer fun day and the Christmas meal and fun day.
Christmas 2007 was really enjoyable and a nice change of scenery.
A very big thanks to all our members because without you, there would be no club.
Thanks for your loyalty, support, patience and help over the last year.
Lastly a big thank you for the very unsung heroes of the club....
The committee.
These guys put in a lot of work every year to keep the club running and most of it is behind the scenes and not seen by the majority of members.
It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to keep the club running so thanks again committee.
2008 promises to be another busy year with a full waiting list, demo's and of course a first for the club...It's fist UKA SHOW.
There is a lot to think about this year especially with the inclusion of the show in our calendar.
I hope we can count on all the members for their supporrt and participation.
We also have our A.G.M Coming up in March which is a great oppotunity for all our members to have their say.
I hope we get a better turnout than we did last year.
It really is an important night for the members as well as the club.
We hope to see as many members present as possible.
We usually have a guest speaker at the AGM who gives a short talk on a subject we can all relate to.
If anyone has any ideas about a guest speaker please let us know.
We also have to start thinking about a worthy charity for this years fundraising.
If you have any ideas again please let us know.
We are still on the lookout for a new venue so please keep your ears and eyes open.
We could still do with another trainer for our 9pm classes.
I know that a couple of avenues are being expolred at the moment.
Thats about it for now.
Thanks again for all your support.
Have a safe and fun 2008 at
K-A-T-S
